LI Women Organizations

Millennium Sistahs Inc was established in 1999 by its founder Ms Glenda Hills, a Trinidadian to provide community services to women and their families.   Their program focuses on the well being of low income women in the community by providing referral resources, and assistance with clothing, food and toys.  Every year they provide women with the experience to reconnect with themselves at their spiritual retreats.  It strengthens their bodies, minds and inspires them to stay in the light.

Internationally, they provide FREE preventative medical care in the Caribbean and at many health fairs in New York.  In addition to this, they donate toys and children’s clothing and medical supplies.  Millennium Sistahs run a community food pantry and a baby layette program in New York. For more information on upcoming events and to contact Millennium Sistahs click here.
