“On April 14th 2008, I motioned to have my bill, S3936 - the New York State Fair Pay Act, moved out of the Senate Labor Committee and onto the Senate floor for debate and it was voted down along party lines. I will not stand for this and will continue to fight for Fair Pay in New York State. I hope you will join me this Sunday, rain or shine, to standup for women and minorities’ fundamental civil rights. This is about all of us and we will not be silenced!”

Wear RED to symbolize how far women and minorities are "in the red" with their pay!

Play… An Endangered Activity?
“Play gives children a chance to practice what
they are learning.” -Fred Rogers
Adults play to escape from the world; children play to learn about the world.
Please join The Early Years Matter campaign and child development experts, Alice Brown
and Toni Liebman to discuss:
• what play is
• why it is an important part of every child’s life
• how play can be fostered/encouraged by parents
and caregivers
