The National Association of Mothers’ Centers, a Jericho based non-profit agency offering work/life and parenting programs, welcomes three new board members: Nancy Jacob, Cynthia Powers and Kathleen Stanley.  

 

Nancy Jacob comes to the NAMC board with Twenty-two years of Human Resource experience in various industries in both public and private sector with twelve years experience at the Director level in Human Resources

 

Nancy is currently employed as Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources at Suffolk County National Bank. Her other affiliations include: co-chair of the Riverhead School District

Business Advisory Board and               Chairperson of the Long Island Human

Resource Network.

   

Cynthia L. Powers, MPA – Director of Business Development at The Bristal Assisted Living.  Among her many responsibilities she oversees development of strategic corporate and professional relationships, the non-profit marketing initiative and the community outreach initiative that provides education and information.

 

Ms. Powers is an adjunct professor at LIU/CW Post campus in Brookville teaching the non-profit management courses and is a member of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals serving as mentoring co-chair.

Kathleen Stanley is a Vice President and Director of Cash Management for Empire National Bank. Kathleen has more than 15 years in the financial services and has spent the last nine years of her career in Cash Management as a sales person and department manager.

 

Kathleen is a member of the Women’s Executive Network of the Nassau County Museum of Art and a board member of The National Association of Women Business Owner’s.

 

Ms. Jacobs, Ms. Stanley and Ms. Powers currently help chair the NAMC Work/Life Conference, providing leadership to a large corporate committee focused on work/life best practices on Long Island.
