Third Annual Women in Technology Diamond Awards


The Women In Technology Forum, a strategic alliance of the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women and LISTnet, proudly announces the Third Annual Women in Technology Forum Diamond Awards honoring Long Island women for their achievements in technology. Additional categories recognizing more women of accomplishment are added this year, based on the success and impact of prior Diamond Awards events.


Entrepreneur- A Long Island woman for her professional achievements in starting her own technology company
Corporate/Small (under 100 employees) - A Long Island woman for her professional achievements in technology
Corporate/Large (over 100 employees) - A Long Island woman for her professional achievements in technology
Not-for-Profit - A Long Island woman for her professional achievements in technology in the not-for-profit sector
Education - A Long Island woman for her professional achievements in technology working as an educator
Company - A Long Island company for promoting women to top technology management positions
Scholarships - Two Long Island female students for their educational commitments to technology

Do you know an accomplished woman who is deserving of this special award? Or do you have a story of accomplishment to tell about yourself? Companies which promote women in the field of technology are encouraged to submit nominations as well. Go to http://www.listnet.org right now and submit a nomination! Past winners -- Judy Murrah, Symbol Technologies, and Adrienne Giannone, Edge Electronics -- will tell you that winning the Diamond Award had an immediate and positive impact on their careers and their companies.
