Eileen Tanne
Founder of LlWomen. com and President of ET Connections

Today Eileen Tanne is founder of the newly launched LlWomen.com site and President of ET Connections. Both of her companies are geared to bringing women together and enhancing their business and personal lives

Eileen Tanne started in marketing and promotions in 1976 through an association with World Team Tennis and Billie Jean King. For six-years she served as marketing director for Networking Magazine. During that time, Eileen coordinated a large-scale women’s event for a tri-station radio group that wanted to do something for women, but wasn’t sure

what to do. Eileen stepped in and created an event for National Women’s History Month that attracted the attention of all local media and scores of women.  The success of the event was the catalyst that led to the formation of ET Connections.

Ms. Magazine soon joined ET Connection’s client roster and Eileen continues to market the Ms. Millennium Conference and other special events with Gloria Steinem and Marcia Ann Gillespie, Ms. Magazine Editor-in-Chief and President of Liberty Media for Women.

Eileen currently serves on the board of director’s for the Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women and has been named as a trustee for the National Association of Mothers’ Centers. Professional affiliations include NAWBO/LI, Women on the Job, Public Relations Professionals of Long Island, and the Women’s Sports Foundation.

Why NAWBO?

“As an entrepreneur, I need the counsel of successful small business owners who can help me grow my business. I find most NAWBO members to have a very positive, ‘can do’ attitude,” said Eileen in a recent interview. “They’ll go out of their way to share their knowledge and give support to other members. I really enjoy the camaraderie at meetings and have already made many new friends.”

Eileen Tanne resides in Syosset, NY with her husband Mitchell where they raised two daughters, Karen and Saundra. When not on the road for business, Eileen’s favorite pastime is visiting her 2-year-old grandson David, in Florida.
