New Parenting Workshops from Cornell Cooperative Extension for Spring 2003

The Human Development Program of Cornell Cooperative Extension is offering four parenting workshops in May for their Spring Series. All workshops will be presented at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook on Nicholls Road.

Winning Ways to Talk with Kids
"My kid won't listen!" is a familiar refrain among parents. The ability to communicate effectively with your children will help you at every stage of their development. Learn how to avoid communication problems and be a better listener.

Handle with Care: Managing Children's Anger
Parents can be upset and confused when children have temper tantrums, lash out in anger or explode in rage. This workshop will help parents understand children's anger and ways to manage it.
