LIWomen.com has added a Press Release section
to assist non-profit organizations servicing women
to publicize information on legislative actions, health,
business, family issues and special events.
The mission of LIWomen.com is to provide
information on self development, self discovery and issues
affecting the lives of women in our community.
LIWomen.com has a Viewpoints & Vision
section which is a forum for community leaders to address
the issues. Family Life is edited by the National Association of
Mothers’ Centers.
Business features a monthly column by Emmy Award
winning anchor/reporter and News 12 Long Island “Money
Talk” host Judy Martin.
The Women On The Job section is edited by Women On
The Job Task Force, a coalition of about 60 diverse Long
Island organizations, educating and advocating for
women’s workplace justice.
The website also has Health Connection, Save The
Date and a Resource Section hyperlinking to non-profit
organizations servicing women.
The recently launched website is owned by Eileen
Tanne, President, ET Connections. Ms. Tanne’s company,
located in Syosset, specializes in marketing to women.
A major client is Ms. Magazine which is owned by
Liberty Media for Women, LLC.
Ms. Tanne works in tandem with their Marketing
Division to market special events with Gloria Steinem and
Marcia Ann Gillespie, Ms. Magazine Editor-in-Chief and
President of Liberty Media for Women.
Press releases will be accepted from members of Public
Relations Professionals of Long Island and non-profit
organizations known to LIWomen.com.
