Dr.
Corinne E. Tobin, the Director of Breast Imaging at Nassau
County Medical Center will tell what is happening in
breast cancer detection at Adelphi University in Garden
City on Wednesday, April 4 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.
Her talk is entitled "Mammography, Minimally
Invasive Breast Biopsy and the Latest Developments in
Breast Cancer Detection."
Dr.
Tobin received her undergraduate degree from Yale
University and her doctorate from New York Medical
College. She continued her studies after graduation at
Beth Israel Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of
Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, and completed
sub-specialized training in all aspects of breast imaging
and breast interventional procedures during a Women's
Imaging Fellowship at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, in
Pittsburgh. In addition, Dr. Tobin has completed extensive
research on many aspects of breast imaging including the
use of High Resolution Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance
Imaging, and Digital Mammography.
Dr. Tobin is certified by the Diplomate National
Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of
Radiology.
