members and friends of survivors who are concerned about
breast cancer, can become volunteers at the Adelphi NY
Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program in
Garden City, Long Island.
Volunteers can help
by doing outreach to the community, office work, fund
raising and publicity, as well as answering hotline calls.

information and referral services to callers with breast
cancer concerns.

training cycle will be held on a five Tuesdays, beginning
May 22. The
sessions run from 10 am to 1 pm at the Adelphi University

the training and to schedule an appointment for an
interview, call Laura Greenblatt, ACSW, at 516-877-4335.
