Bureau of Suffolk (VIBS) is hosting a Silver Jubilee
Dinner at Flowerfield in St. James on Wednesday, March 28,
2001 at 7pm. The
dinner will be a celebration of
VIBS’ 25th Anniversary and its progress in the
fight against domestic and sexual violence.
VIBS is thrilled to announce that its
Jubilee Honoree is Rose D’Alessandro, owner of Major Interiors. During the
dinner’s program, VIBS also will be presenting its Lifetime Achievement Award
to Babylon Attorney, Jane Roberts Garvey.
Since 1976, VIBS has pioneered services to victims of domestic violence and
sexual assault. The agency provides assistance to women, children, men and the
elderly through crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, community education
and outreach.
