Boardroom Bound Presents Seminar on
Preparing Yourself
For Corporate Board Service

Washington, DC (April 25, 2003): Boardroom Bound, a Washington, DC-based nonprofit organization whose goal is to increase diversity in U.S. Corporate Boardrooms, will present a seminar entitled "Into the Pipeline … Pre-paring Minorities & Women for Corporate Board Service" A Director Development Seminar, Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13, at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, according to Linda K. Bolliger, founder and CEO. The seminar has been designed for business owners, those with corporate or nonprofit senior status, cabinet level public servants, and elected officials. The 1 1/2-day event is to help attendees focus on developing a strategic board appointment plan, learning what post-Enron governance reform means to them and recognizing 'The New Code for Board Directors.'

Features speakers* from the executive search and corporate board industries, plus the accounting, legal, and strategic planning arenas: Cheryl E. Bedard and Stanley Krejci of The McCormick Group (Executive Search Firm); Sue Ghosh, Esq., (Regulatory Attorney); Anna Lampich, Partner, CBIZ Kauffman Davis Accounting Firm, Muriel Yilaz, President, Mentor, Inc., and Group Facilitator for TEC, and other experts from the Boardroom Bound professional network.
